This official Weblio extension provides a pop-up dictionary that displays English-Japanese dictionary meanings when you hover over English on a web page, and lets you go directly to translation results by selecting text. This is the official Weblio pop-up dictionary. This official Weblio pop-up dictionary and mouseover translation extension lets you hover over or double-click English words on web pages to display meanings from the Weblio English-Japanese dictionary and links to Weblio English translation results. ◆◆ [What you can do with the Weblio English-Japanese Dictionary extension] • View Weblio explanations of English words and idioms in a pop-up window by hovering over them. • Select “Search by selecting English words” to display Weblio translations simply by double-clicking an English word. • You can also combine the Ctrl key with a mouse hover to open the pop-up. • Plural nouns and conjugated verbs are supported, so there is no need to change them to singular or base forms and search Weblio again. • When “Search by selecting English words” is selected, you can search for phrases and idioms as groups of words. ◆◆ [Basic usage] 1. Place the mouse pointer over an English word whose meaning you want to look up, or highlight the word or idiom. (In the options, you can choose whether to search by hovering over a word or by selecting a phrase or idiom.) 2.
