Merely make a minor modification on Bilibili. Fine-tune the layout Clean up pages Display comment IP locations (off by default) Add creators to local or account blacklists with one click; import and export the local blacklist Filter recommended videos on the homepage and playback pages using the local blacklist Select better video playback links to address stuttering caused by low-quality default CDN links Note: Installation requires a browser engine version above 125. Blacklist a creator on the homepage: Hover over the creator's name on a video card to choose one of two options: ① Add to the account blacklist ② Add to the local blacklist Blacklist a creator on a playback page: Quickly click a blank area of a recommended video card on the right four times to add the creator to the local blacklist. Quickly return to the top of the homepage: Quickly click any blank area in the video feed three times. Open the settings panel: Press all three keys at the same time, in any order. Currently, settings are only available on playback pages, so the panel can only be opened there. Win / Linux: Ctrl + Alt + B or Shift + Alt + B Mac: Shift(⇧) + Option(⌥) + B Feedback: To ensure accurate reports, please disable all other extensions that affect Bilibili before reporting a problem and check whether it still occurs. Also, please do not report issues if you use a browser other than Chrome or Edge. The extension will never support other browsers, and feedback from other browsers will not be accepted. For a timely response, contact [email protected] by email. Responses to comments: Q: "Can the extension also support the dynamic feed page?" A: No. The extension only supports the most commonly used pages: the homepage and playback pages. On anime playback pages, only the playback link selection feature is supported. The extension modifies the original pages and must be adapted as Bilibili updates them. Even supporting just the homepage and several types of playback pages involves more work than you can imagine. Q: "After turning on lights-off mode, the progress bar also turns gray. If the video is dark, it's hard to see the playback progress. Can this be improved?" A: "If the video is dark" is indeed possible, but can the video also be bright? Can it alternate between dark and bright, or contain both? This is obviously a matter of common sense. Lights-off mode is certainly not intended to make you focus on the progress bar. Could it be intended to make the progress bar less prominent? Updates: V2026.9.25 Playback page: Adapted to updates V2026.9.19 Homepage and playback page: Adapted to updates V2026.7.21 Homepage: Adapted to updates and improved performance Playback page: Fine-tuned the description and collection list styles Added a "Hide the right-side danmaku list" setting, off by default V2026.02.13 Homepage: Blocked another type of advertising video Playback page: Fine-tuned the floating reply box style V2026.02.06 Homepage: Blocked video cards from advertising-only accounts whose names begin with bili_ followed by multiple digits Playback page: Adapted to updates Restored the floating reply box when scrolling through comments and fine-tuned its style V2026.01.30 Homepage: Adapted to updates and improved selection of the anchor that triggers loading more Playback page: Improved URL processing code performance V2025.12.17 Adjusted the extension structure Used native extension capabilities to optimize and ensure the execution timing of code that must run in the Main World environment, and removed bridge code for older browsers. Since V2025.12.05, only browsers with engine versions above 125 have been allowed to install the extension, so other compatibility code for older browsers will gradually be removed. Homepage: Adapted to updates V2025.12.16 Used native CSS Nesting to further reduce the size of unpacked style code Homepage: Fixed missing interaction animations Playback page: Fixed inconsistent background colors for some elements below the player on creators' VIP member video pages V2025.12.05 Simplified code and further reduced extension size This update prevents older browsers with engine versions below 125 from installing the extension Engine version 125 dates to May 14, 2024 Homepage: Adapted to updates Playback page: Optimized web component performance Intercepted and replaced a new type of low-quality CDN playback link V2025.10.07 Playback page: Changed the Mac shortcut for opening settings to Shift(⇧) + Option(⌥) + B On other platforms, use (either Ctrl or Shift) + Alt + B to open settings V2025.08.05 Playback page: Fixed an issue preventing the settings panel from opening via shortcut on Mac. V2025.08.01 Playback page: Added a "Hide pinned advertising comments" setting, off by default; refresh the page after changing it V2025.07.05 Playback page: Blocked ws tracking and reporting connections Adapted the playback link selection hook to updates on anime playback pages Simplified the hook code and removed the old hook logic Removed playback link selection support for durl, retaining it only for the mainstream dash format, because the benefit for durl is very small V2025.07.03 Homepage: Fixed carousel flickering Playback page: Added a "Show topic tags" setting, off by default; refresh the page after changing it V2025.06.08 Playback page: Fixed creator names being displayed too short on recommended video cards on the right Changed the hook method to a lower-level implementation for replacing low-quality CDN playback links, also fixing a chance that caching could prevent the previous hook from working on anime playback pages This hook causes Video Host and Audio Host in "Video statistics" to display inaccurately. To see the actual links, check the Network panel in F12. V2025.05.25 Optimized logic and simplified code, further reducing extension size Homepage: Fixed errors caused by a new type of promotional ad card Playback page: Improved settings panel dragging so underlying text is not selected while dragging V2025.04.20 Playback page: Recreated the Watch Later page style to match ordinary creator video pages 1:1 When there is no collection list, made the spacing between the first recommended card on the right and the others consistent and removed the divider V2025.04.19 Playback page: Fixed the background briefly turning white during transitions when switching comment pages V2025.04.18 Playback page: Removed recommended video cards from the end panel after playback finishes Fine-tuned the end panel style If the current video's creator is blacklisted, a black dot appears at the upper right of the creator's name at the top right of the page Added a "Show comment IP location" setting, off by default; refresh the page after changing it V2025.04.11 Playback page: Removed the player's widescreen mode Improved blacklist performance About removing widescreen: I only learned about this feature after someone mentioned it. On the original page, the video player is nested deep inside the left container. Widescreen mode requires JavaScript to dynamically calculate the height that #danmukuBox in the right container must reserve at the top for the player in the left container, across multiple width ranges. Doesn't that sound absurd? In short, a child element of the right container has to make room for a child element of the left container. That's a new one. If the Trisolarans arrive, I'd vote for whoever came up with this idea to be a Wallfacer. V2025.04.10 Playback page: Blocked promotional notifications at the top of the comment section Blocked pinned comment advertisements that link elsewhere V2025.03.30 Playback page: Blocked a new type of advertisement above the comment section Disabled text selection on video cards to improve the blacklist interaction Blocked a new type of advertisement below video cards V2025.03.03 Improved the extension structure Homepage: Blocked a new type of promotional advertisement Playback page: Intercepted extremely frequent reporting requests V2025.02.19 Optimized the timing of some scripts on the homepage and playback pages Simplified code and further reduced extension size Homepage: Improved video loading speed on hover Playback page: Gave playback links on /^cn-.+\.bilivideo\.com/ CDN domains the highest priority V2024.12.28 Improved the display of the homepage's native video feedback button: Moved it to the lower right of the second line inside the video title Removed the blank space reserved for it in the video title V2024.12.27 Adapted to homepage video card style updates V2024.12.26 Homepage: Used CSS position-anchor to address inconsistent styling between the original page's "load more" anchor for refreshing videos and the ordinary "load more" element, and the need to adapt whenever the anchor style changes. It is also used to trigger loading more. This experimental CSS feature (Limited availability across major browsers) requires Chrome/Edge 125 stable or later (released May 14, 2024). Search page: Blocked advertisements in search results V2024.12.15 Changed the local blacklist strategy Simplified code and further reduced extension size Blocked a new type of promotional video V2024.12.5 Homepage: Intercepted unnecessary tracking and reporting requests Blocked requests for all data used in recommendations other than creator videos Restored native video feedback (not interested in content, don't want to see this creator) Fixed 0.1px black arcs at the four corners when hovering to preview a video Adapted to screen width, with up to five columns V2024.12.1 Homepage: Switched to CSS for triggering recommended video updates on scroll and adapted to updates Playback page: Improved video playback link replacement logic and the lights-off mode experience V2024.11.6 Playback page: Increased priority for playback links on /^cn-.+\.bilivideo\.com/ CDN domains Improved the lights-off mode experience Adapted styles for the combined right-side danmaku list and chapters Improved the creator blacklist interaction V1.1.7 Homepage: If a video by a locally blacklisted creator is recommended again, the creator is added to the account blacklist again and automatically removed after 60 hours Playback page: Adapted to UI updates V1.1.6 Adding a creator to the local blacklist also adds them to the account blacklist, from which they are automatically removed after 60 hours V1.1.5 Playback page: Fixed an issue where creators could not be blacklisted after navigating from a page with a collection to one without Improved the creator blacklist interaction V1.1.4 Playback page: Fixed a 0.5px black bar below the original page's video player Removed the topic tag block V1.1.3 Playback page: Adapted to UI updates and fine-tuned styles V1.1.2 Playback page: Added filtering of recommended videos on the right using the local blacklist, shared between the homepage and playback pages Quickly click a blank area on a recommended video card on the right four times to blacklist its creator V1.1.1 Playback page: Adjusted the layout, moved the video player to the upper right, and fine-tuned styles V1.1.0 Homepage: Adapted to screen width, with up to four columns Local blacklist changes take effect immediately Added local blacklist import and export: Export: Console (F12) > Console, run blacklistManager.exportBlacklist() Import: Console (F12) > Console, run blacklistManager.importBlacklist() Blacklist files exported by others can also be imported for sharing To delete a local blacklist entry, go to Console (F12) > Application > IndexedDB > BetterBilibiliDB > uid > select > right-click to delete V1.0.7 Homepage: Fine-tuned styles and adjusted the number of videos refreshed by 'Change' Playback page: Fine-tuned styles V1.0.6 Homepage: Improved the logic for refreshing recommended videos on scroll Improved video filtering logic Added a return-to-top feature: quickly click any blank area of the video feed three times V1.0.5 Homepage: Improved the one-click creator blacklist interaction and simplified video filtering logic V1.0.3 Homepage: Added one-click addition of creators to the local blacklist, which does not use account blacklist slots.
