XPath generation improvements • Improved: Refactored XPath generation with candidate scoring to prioritize more stable and accurate expressions. Avoids overly broad expressions, random hash class names, CSS module suffixes and unstable attributes; handles dynamic IDs using stable prefixes and adds necessary attribute or text constraints to generic tags such as span and div to reduce false matches. • Improved: Similar-element XPath generation no longer relies simply on positions or broad parent nodes. • Improved: Capture shortcut hints remain visible, with a shortcut to browser keyboard shortcut settings. • Improved: Once the XPath extension panel is open, it can be used after switching tabs without reopening it. • Added: Freeze the page to hold currently displayed elements in place for capture, useful when elements appear briefly and disappear. Shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+F, configurable. • Added: Cross-origin iframe support. Generated XPath is split across multiple lines, locating the iframe first and then the element inside it; it can be copied directly into the 影刀 element editor's XPath field. • Added: Support for open shadow-root elements. Generated XPath uses the format specific to 影刀 RPA and can be copied directly into the 影刀 element editor's XPath field. • Added: Repeated list structure recognition, inferring similar list items and the target relative path from two selected elements. • Added a Regenerate button to generate a different XPath from the currently selected elements. • Added: The five most recent XPath entries are retained when regenerating; click a history entry to restore it quickly. • Fixed: After switching tabs, operations no longer affect elements in the old tab. XPath validation and capture always apply to the active tab. • Fixed: On some webpages, altered extension styling prevented XPath input or copying. Validation and highlighting improvements • Improved element validation display. • Fixed highlight boxes becoming misaligned after scrolling. • Fixed old red borders remaining when recapturing elements. • Closing the extension or clearing highlights also removes highlighting from the page. —— V1.7 October 31, 2025 1. When an element is inside an iframe, the XPath for both the iframe and its internal element is displayed (cross-origin iframes are not supported). 3. Added individual validation. When multiple elements are found, clicking an element in the results area automatically scrolls it to the center of the window and highlights it with a flashing effect. 4. Improved match results by showing element attributes. When there are many results, only some are initially shown; scroll to the bottom and click to see more for all matches. 5. Improved element selection: 5.1 The panel is hidden during selection and restored afterward. 5.2 Selection mode exits automatically after 30 seconds to prevent it from getting stuck. 5.3 Press ESC during selection to exit selection mode. 6.
