Tab workspace manager 1. Why do you need EverTabs? When using Chrome, we often open dozens of tabs and eventually cannot find the ones we want, making tab management inefficient. 2. What can EverTabs do for you? * Organize tabs into different workspaces * Switch quickly between workspaces * Drag tabs between workspaces * Find and switch tabs across workspaces using a shortcut overlay * Instantly restore tabs when you reopen the browser 3. How does EverTabs work? EverTabs consists of a Chrome browser extension and a management interface. 1) Browser extension * The EverTabs browser extension can be downloaded and installed from the Chrome Web Store or a cloud drive. Once installed, it automatically opens the management interface and pins it as the first tab in the current browser window. You can quickly open it with Command+1. * The extension also opens a hidden browser window. When switching workspaces, it hides the old tabs there so they do not need to reload when you switch back. 2) Management interface * The management interface consists of two parts: the workspace menu on the left and the current tab list on the right. The workspace menu lets you create, edit, and delete workspaces. Tabs in the list on the right can be clicked to open them quickly or dragged and dropped onto the menu on the left. 4. How do you use EverTabs? * Switch workspaces Click a workspace name, and the browser tabs will switch together automatically. * Move tabs To move a tab from one workspace to another, drag and drop it from the tab list in the management interface to the target workspace. * Shortcut overlay Press Ctrl+Q to open the shortcut overlay from any tab at any time, then click the tab you want to visit. Press Esc to close the overlay. (The current workspace and tab are highlighted in blue in the overlay.)
