Beskrivelse

Look up words in Dict.cn from the context menu (full version). Note: This extension was created because dict.cn/mini.php was once inaccessible overseas. For its sister extension (the mini version), see https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/lookup-in-dictcn/oapijfgpjfkagakopncnfbkdhcfoodio?utm_source=chrome-ntp-icon Users can choose whichever version they prefer. How to use: 1. Select a word. In ordinary text, double-click to select it easily; in a link, click and select it manually. 2. Right-click to open the menu and select "Lookup in dict.cn". 3. A window will pop up with dictionary information from dict.cn. Tips: 1. Sometimes the menu does not appear, usually because the page has disconnected from the server. Refresh the page to see the lookup menu. Why I personally recommend it: 0. Security: It requires no permissions, stores no information, and does not access any servers in the background. It only helps open dict.cn for word lookup. Source code: https://github.com/pengw/ChromeDictExtensionOverseas 1. It starts only when the user explicitly clicks it, rather than popping up automatically when the user habitually double-clicks a page. 2. It also works in PDF files opened in Chrome. 3. When reading PDFs, double-clicking a word in Chrome often selects the punctuation around it as well. A new feature automatically removes punctuation from the beginning and end of the word, greatly reducing the trouble of manually selecting words in PDFs.
