Beskrivelse
Complete device profiles and FingerprintJS countermeasures: Navigator/viewport/WebGL/Canvas/Audio/Font
Cross Platform is a Chrome extension for developers and testers that helps you quickly simulate different platforms and device environments in a desktop browser to verify cross-platform compatibility, responsive layouts, and frontend detection logic.
Core Features
▸ One-click toggle
Click the toolbar icon to enable or disable spoofing without a popup. The icon color and badge reflect the current status:
· Green — enabled
· Gray — disabled
· Orange — not configured
Right-click the icon to open the configuration page.
▸ Navigator spoofing
Customize the following browser identifiers:
· navigator.platform
· navigator.userAgent
· navigator.maxTouchPoints
▸ Screen and viewport spoofing
Supports a full set of mobile emulation parameters:
· screen.width / screen.height
· screen.availWidth / screen.availHeight
· window.innerWidth / innerHeight
· window.outerWidth / outerHeight
· window.devicePixelRatio
· Readings from APIs such as visualViewport and matchMedia
▸ Page display simulation
When "Simulate page display size" is enabled, the extension will:
· Inject a viewport meta tag to make responsive pages use the target width
· Restrict page content to the configured width and height
· Automatically scale the preview in a wide browser window
· Display a badge showing the current simulated dimensions
You can also disable display simulation and spoof only JavaScript APIs without changing the page layout.
▸ Quick presets
Built-in Android, iPhone, Win32, MacIntel, and Linux x86_64 presets fill in all parameters with one click.
▸ Domain restriction (optional)
Specify a domain on which the extension should work, or leave it blank to apply it to all http/https pages.
Use Cases
· Frontend development: debug mobile layouts and platform detection logic
· QA testing: quickly switch device environments without repeatedly opening DevTools
· Compatibility verification: check how sites respond to navigator, viewport, and media queries
How to Use
1. After installation, right-click the toolbar icon → "Open configuration options"
2. Choose a preset or enter parameters manually, then save the configuration
3. Left-click the icon to enable spoofing; the current tab refreshes automatically to apply it
4. Click the icon again to disable it
Permissions
· storage — saves your configuration
· tabs — refreshes the current page after toggling to apply the configuration
· contextMenus — provides access to the configuration page through the right-click menu
· Access to http/https pages — injects spoofing scripts into target pages
Privacy Commitment
Cross Platform does not collect, upload, or sell any user data. All configuration is stored locally in the browser.
Notes
This extension uses JavaScript overrides and CSS simulation to spoof the environment and cannot fully replace Chrome DevTools device emulation or testing on real devices. Sites using position: fixed, iframe, or advanced fingerprint detection may behave differently. Use it only on pages you are authorized to test.
