Download your favorite tracks without limits with the new Yandex Music extension! The extension adds the ability to download tracks, podcasts and even entire playlists and albums from Yandex Music. A simple, intuitive interface that complements the site perfectly. Now you can listen to your favorite tracks and artists without an internet connection or limits. Downloaded tracks contain all the artist, cover art and lyric information and are supported by all popular players. FAQ: Question: The extension doesn't work / I don't see the buttons / How do I enable it? Answer: Try reinstalling the extension and updating your browser. Answer: The Chrome API does not allow files to be saved or downloaded to directories other than the downloads directory set in the browser settings. This is for your own security. Question: Can tracks have higher-quality cover art? Answer: Technically, yes, but based on my tests, Yandex Music simply does not store cover art with a resolution greater than 400x400, or does not have it for every track. Question: A particular track does not download and produces an error. Answer: Most likely, the track or album title contains a character that cannot appear in a directory name. Email me and I will try to fix it as soon as possible. Question: What are the strange characters in filenames? Answer: Some track titles contain characters that cannot appear in directory or file names, so these characters need to be specially encoded to avoid errors when saving tracks.
