Description

A Chrome extension with the essentials for synchronizing friends' YouTube videos from Twitch. With this extension you can watch YouTube together while respecting creators' work as much as possible. Unlike other apps, websites or extensions, each person accesses YouTube from their own browser, and Twitch chat is used so the channel broadcaster can pause, play, restart or start at a certain point in the video you have chosen. THEY CANNOT CHANGE YOUR VIDEO. The extension could do everything on its own, but I want it to be as transparent as possible. It therefore does not activate in a tab until you enable it there, and marks the tab green when active so you know it is being controlled. It is easy to use: once the extension is installed, its icon lights up only when you are in a YouTube or Twitch tab. When you click the extension icon on a Twitch tab, a green box appears over the chat to indicate that this chat will send commands to the YouTube tab. To enable the extension on YouTube, go to the YouTube tab you want, play the video you have agreed on and click the extension icon. You will see the background of the YouTube title turn green, and the first two extension icons will also turn green. It is now working. When the Twitch channel broadcaster writes commands in chat, ALL the videos of everyone in the chat who has prepared their extension as described will perform the requested action. "pausa_video" -> pause "p" does the same as pausa_video "reproduce_video" -> play, naturally "r" does the same as reproduce_video "recarga_video" -> reloads the page and puts the video at second 1 "l" (a lowercase L) -> does the same as recarga_video "recarga_video_44" -> or any other number; reloads the page and puts the video at second 44, or whatever number you put in place of 44. ENTER COMMANDS WITHOUT THE QUOTATION MARKS. For example, as the Twitch channel broadcaster, simply type p and press enter.
