Description

Inject JavaScript and CSS from local files into websites Kode Injector helps you modify the sites you visit in your browser by injecting local JavaScript or CSS. How it works: • Map a site's hostname to a local JS and/or CSS file — the code is injected automatically on every visit. • Toggle rules per site, per rule, or per individual file, or pause everything at once. Reading local files: • On Chrome and Edge, enable "Allow access to file URLs" on the extension's details page (the default method). Alternatively, install the optional Kode Injector Helper (Native Host) — it doesn't depend on that toggle. Firefox uses the Helper only. • Point a rule at a file:/// path (for example, file:///index.js). A plain absolute path like /Users/you/patch.js or C:\overrides\patch.js also works — the file:/// scheme is added for you. Dev-server URLs over http(s):// are supported too.
