A browser extension for dictating Estonian text using speech recognition. The extension lets you dictate Estonian text into any text field you choose! How to use it 1) Right-click a text field and select 'dictate text into this text field' from the menu. 2) A window opens and asks for permission to use the microphone. 3) Press the microphone button and start dictating (the dictated text appears on screen). What to remember when dictating 1) Speak clearly and at a moderate pace. 2) You do not need to pause between words. 3) You can dictate punctuation (",.!?:;") and line breaks (say "uus rida"). Server-based speech recognition software developed by the phonetics and speech technology laboratory at the TTÜ Institute of Cybernetics is used to transcribe speech into text.
