[Core features] • Batch querying: type once and send the same question to multiple AI chat and search websites (which sites to use is fully configurable inside the extension) • Side-by-side comparison: all results are shown as embedded cards on a single "compare page" — no more tab-hopping • One-click summary: use your own AI provider (bring your own key) to condense multiple answers into one conclusion • Search groups: group your frequently used sites and launch them in one click; custom sites supported • Selection search: select text on any page to search instantly • Content extraction / export: export conversations or results to Markdown, etc. • Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Q opens the search popup [Permissions & privacy] This extension follows a least-privilege model. All core features run locally; your input, browsing history, and page content are never uploaded. - Free features require no sign-up and no connection to our servers. - Optional paid membership: unlocks more search groups and a continuously updated site rule library. On activation it sends our server a randomly generated device ID and your browser's User-Agent, solely for device-license counting. No personally identifiable information is collected. - Full privacy policy: https://github.com/axutongxue/XuSearch/blob/main/PRIVACY.md [Why these permissions] • On-page automation needs access to web pages (<all_urls>): the extension fills and submits your question into each site's input field only when you trigger it, which requires running scripts on pages you visit. • declarativeNetRequest: adjusts certain response headers (e.g. X-Frame-Options) so selected sites can render safely inside the compare page's cards. This extension contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
