Description

Lets a DeepSeek Harness agent drive this browser through a local MCP daemon, and puts the Deepseek Harness APP chat in a side panel. Deepseek Harness APP connects your browser to a DeepSeek Harness (DSH) agent that runs locally on your own machine, and adds a chat side panel for it. Point the agent at a page and it can read and act on it: inspect the DOM and accessibility tree, take screenshots, follow network activity, click, type, and scroll — all through the Chrome DevTools Protocol. You stay in control: the agent only touches tabs you direct it to, and every action is visible in the browser. Key features: • Side panel chat with your local DSH agent, without leaving the page you are working on. • Page element picker — select an element and reference it directly in the conversation. • Tab grouping, so the pages opened during a task stay together and are easy to close. • Works with code, docs, dashboards, and internal tools; bring your own model provider. • 100% local connection: the extension talks only to your own DSH server on 127.0.0.1. No analytics, no tracking, no remote code. Requirements — install this first: This extension is the browser half of the open-source DSH stack and does not work on its own. It requires the dsh-chrome-control DSH plugin, which provides the local bridge the extension connects to: https://github.com/dshapp/dsh-chrome-control 1. Install DSH and the plugin into its Web profile: dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-chrome-control 2. Start `dsh web` (default http://127.0.0.1:3080). 3. Open this extension and point its DSH server address at that URL. Without the dsh-chrome-control plugin the extension cannot connect, and agent tools will report that no extension is attached. See the repository README for full setup instructions.
