It is the first thing we install on a computer, laptop and now even a mobile phone. This protects our data from dangerous viruses. But what is a chochmes for? Chochmes.sk is based on a principle similar to antivirus software: it alerts users to potential dangers, which in our case are conspiracy theories. Chochmes.sk will protect you and your loved ones from misinformation, hoaxes and conspiracy theories. When Chochmes.sk encounters a site that spreads false or misleading content, a warning pops up for the user. The warning only alerts you to sites you should be cautious about; it is up to you whether to heed or ignore it. Our aim is not to restrict freedom of speech, but to fight misinformation and support critical thinking so that people start considering where information comes from and who its author is.
