Description
Export Library Analytics data from Figma to CSV, JSON, and Markdown. Formerly Figma UI Mod.
Export Library Analytics data from Figma to CSV, JSON, or Markdown. Open a Chrome side panel beside your Figma tab — it detects what you are viewing and offers a one-click download.
Changes
- 9 June 2026: Markdown exports — names with | no longer break tables.
- 8 June 2026: Panel insights in the side panel (optional in exports). Libraries path: library name and list detection fixes. Better variant extraction and special-character handling.
- 1 June 2026: Automatic view detection — the side panel identifies your current view and updates as you navigate. Contextual Download button — one click exports the current view; scanning happens automatically. Expanded exports — Styles and Variables (including Modes) lists and detail views; per-file usage for variants, single components, styles, and variables. Modal launcher — open the side panel from a button in the Library Analytics modal header. Inline export — CSV, JSON, and Markdown buttons in the modal while the side panel is open. Complete lists — auto-scrolls virtualized tables so long lists export in full.
- 15 March 2026: Renamed to Figma Analytics Export. Chrome side panel replaces the toolbar popup. Unified CSV / JSON / Markdown format picker in the side panel.
- 15 February 2026: Added JSON and Markdown export formats alongside CSV. Property usage analysis — first analytics insights: variant property value counts and percentages in exports (Davy Fung).
Export Library Analytics (CSV, JSON, Markdown)
- Components — full list, variant detail (with property usage analysis), variant file usage, single-component file usage
- Styles — full list and per-style file usage
- Variables — variables list, modes list, and per-variable file usage
- Panel insights — usage charts and maintainer notes in the side panel; optionally include the same analysis in exports
How it works
- Open Library Analytics in Figma, then open the side panel from the toolbar or the modal launcher button
- The panel shows which library and view you are on, and enables Download when export is available
- Choose CSV, JSON, or Markdown; inline export buttons also appear in the modal while the panel is open
- Works from the workspace, inside a design file, or via the Libraries browser
Notes
- Library analytics requires an Organisation or Enterprise Figma plan
- The library analytics modal must be open and the Analytics tab selected
- Detection runs only while the side panel is open
