Turbo Chrome makes browsing faster by loading common library files locally. Turbo Chrome makes browsing faster by loading common library files locally. Files from Google Hosted Libraries, jQuery, Bootstrap and many others are loaded from disk, saving unnecessary requests. Only JS, CSS and font files are optimized. Only resources from known CDNs such as Google Hosted Libraries are replaced to ensure that the extension serves the correct file. Only files that are EXACTLY THE SAME as those saved locally are replaced. No other content is changed, added or removed on the sites visited. The extension works by intercepting requests and replacing them with local content with zero latency, which requires permission to modify content on all sites. The extension will consume a small percentage of CPU.
