(English Version is Below)
This extension mainly helps you hide question difficulty and acceptance rates on LeetCode, as well as the last input test case shown by the platform after a failed submission. It is easy to use~ (The leetcode-cn website is not currently supported.) The latter feature was requested by a friend who thought that after a failure, you should first think through your code's logic and whether you missed edge cases. Having the platform show the Last Executed Input directly can make people less inclined to think rigorously.
Features:
1. Hide question difficulty on the coding page and problem list page. @See screenshots 1&2&4
2. After a successful submission, show the question difficulty and hide the difficulty of recommended questions. @See screenshot 3
3. After a failed submission, optionally hide the "Last Executed Input" test case shown by LeetCode. @See screenshot 5
Why you need it:
I wrote this extension mainly because when I encountered a hard question while practicing, I would feel pressure before even reading it, and might choose another question if I was short on time. These obvious psychological cues have a major impact on how well I practice and perform. Since difficulty is not shown in actual programming tests or contests, I came up with the idea of an extension to hide difficulty and acceptance rates.
I also searched the Chrome Store for similar extensions and tried several. Some had a delay hiding difficulty when navigating to the coding page, so the difficulty would briefly appear. This was uncomfortable, so this extension has been slightly optimized and basically does not have that problem.
Let's enjoy solving problems together!~
Intro:
This extension mainly helps you hide LeetCode's difficulty, acceptance and the last executed input. Easy to use~
The second requirement came from a friend, who thought that after submission failure it's important for us to review our code and think about what's wrong with it and in which cases it will fail, instead of looking at the failed input directly and fixing our code, which can make us lazy.
Features:
1. Hide the Difficulty and Acceptance on the ProblemSet Page and the coding Page. @See the 1st&2nd&4th screenshot
2. After submitting, if you get a 'Success', you will see the difficulty below it. The difficulty of recommended next challenges will be hidden. @See the 3rd screenshot
3. After submitting, if you fail, it can hide the 'Last Executed Input'. @See the 5th screenshot
Why You Need This:
I wrote this because when I was coding on LeetCode, if I encountered 'Hard' problems, I became nervous even before I read the problems' description and thought I couldn't make it, perhaps even choosing another problem to solve. This strong psychological hint has a great influence on me, and we can't see the difficulty in a real programming test, so the idea of writing an extension to hide difficulty and acceptance arose.
In addition, I searched the Chrome Store for extensions with similar functions. I tried several and found that some delayed hiding the difficulty when navigating to the coding interface, meaning I could see the difficulty for a short time before it was hidden. This is a little awkward.
This extension has been slightly optimized and basically has no such problem.
Let's write code on LeetCode~!
