Look up Collins definitions and translate selected text using data from Youdao Dictionary. Save new words to Shanbay for future study. Instructions: - Configure the text selection translation mode on the settings page: - Translate immediately upon selection - Translate when selecting text while holding the (meta/ctrl) key - Translate text selected by double-clicking - Use the shortcut `ctrl+q` to open the overlay in the upper-right corner and search for words A Chrome extension for looking up Collins definitions. It supports text selection translation and uses data from Youdao Dictionary. Many other dictionaries in the Chrome Store already meet general English word lookup needs. Compared with definitions consisting of only a few Chinese characters, Collins Dictionary provides English context that can help us understand a word more accurately and remember it better.
