GoQR

QR Code Generator. Many people find it troublesome to send snippets of information to a phone quickly and conveniently. For example, you might see a great sentence on your computer and want to text it to a friend; want to visit a long URL seen by the roadside or call a number on an advertisement; struggle to find a good business card scanner for a card packed with text; or prefer typing on a computer and then pasting the text into a message or email on your phone. You may already know the small extension “GoogleSendToPhone,” but it only supports Chrome with Android phones and requires a network connection. Various phone assistant programs may also work, but they require drivers and software to be installed. I wanted a lightweight, convenient, efficient way to accomplish this across multiple platforms, so I created GoQR, a mobile QR code generator, using QR codes as the medium. It transfers snippets of information from a computer to a phone by scanning them with the phone's camera. Many websites already provide this kind of mobile QR code generation service, but perhaps I can do it better... 2013-0513: The new version is back, with completely restructured code and faster performance; For more details, please visit my blog: http://nan.im/blog/1136
