shopee Chat Translation This translation extension is designed for customer service chat in the large chat window for sellers on the Shopee cross-border e-commerce platform. To use it, open your shoppe store and open the large chat window. Note: this extension cannot currently be used in the small chat window; click the button in the upper-right corner of the small chat window to go to the large chat window. Many cross-border e-commerce customer service agents still copy messages from customers into translation software, then translate their own replies and copy them back into the chat window to send. This is inefficient and may delay replies to customers, resulting in lost business. This extension was developed to help cross-border e-commerce customer service agents work more efficiently and overcome communication difficulties. It automatically translates customer messages and displays the translations beneath the corresponding sentences, making them easier for customer service agents to read. Agents can also enter their replies in Chinese in the chat window and use the “Translate and Send” button to translate the text into the corresponding language and send it to the customer. The extension supports more than English; it also adds Thai, Malay, and Indonesian for the Shopee platform. More languages may be added later according to market demand.
