Pages Blanches

Search white pages information by name, address or phone number. Believe it or not, finding people for free on the internet gets easier every day. The internet is full of records and information about almost everyone. I do not mean that this is a bad thing. Most people's information can be found in telephone directories, and telephone directories are now online. One resource you can use to try to find people is yellow pages and white pages websites. When you arrive at the Pages Jaunes website, you are given a search field called "Search" and a second field called "Location". You can use a city, state, postal code or neighborhood information in the "Location" field. Simply enter the information you have and see what results come back. You can use the yellow pages to find businesses and individuals. If you have found what you are looking for, there is even a link you can click to display a map with directions. The white pages website is very similar. You can find individuals or businesses using names, cities, states and postal codes. You will also notice a feature called "Reverse Lookup" on the white pages website. You would use this when you receive phone calls that show a number on your caller display but block the name information. Simply enter the phone number in the reverse lookup and it will often tell you the name and address associated with the number. You can use it to find out who is prank-calling you at night or to find the name and address of a repair person you hired whose contact details you have lost. Both yellow pages and white pages have smartphone apps, including for the iPhone. Once downloaded to your phone, you can perform these searches anywhere your phone has reception. Technology makes it easier to find people you want to reconnect with or people you want to connect with in the future. Do not let these resources go to waste. They can save you hours of searching.
