Force desktop versions of major Zhihu pages and optimize landscape touch controls in Yandex Browser on Android tablets. Note: This extension is for use on Android tablets and is dedicated to Yandex Browser, because it is the only Android browser that supports Google extensions. The Zhihu app cannot be used in landscape orientation, which makes it inconvenient to use an Android tablet horizontally, for example when propped up on a table in a case. The mobile Zhihu website also offers a poor experience, with various restrictions and "open in app" buttons. Although you can force a request for desktop pages, you have to enable it manually every time, and the desktop pages are not optimized for tablet interaction. This extension solves that problem. The extension does roughly two things: 1. Automatically forces desktop pages without requiring you to select the browser's built-in desktop mode manually; 2. Optimizes touch interaction, for example by moving the top bar to the left to reduce screen space usage and narrowing the page to prevent horizontal scrolling. It currently works on the Zhihu home page, answer pages, profile pages, search pages, topic pages and column pages. Other pages do not need optimization. PS: The extension actually works in portrait mode too, but the results are not guaranteed. In portrait mode, the official Zhihu app is recommended.
