Kaola analytics tracking validation extension Background Kaola currently uses two tracking methods: appending parameters to a URL or manually triggering `_.daEvent()`. With the first method, you can check whether tracking succeeded by seeing whether the link contains our parameters. With the second, you can only check whether a link beginning with `https://rev.da.netease.com/__dam.gif` was sent in `Network`. Each field is also encoded with `encodeURI`, making it hard to understand at a glance. Features Assuming tracking request URLs begin with `rev.da.netease.com/__dam.gif`, this extension intercepts all requests beginning with `*://rev.da.netease.com/__dam.gif?*`, analyzes the URL parameters, and displays parameters such as `category`, `action`, and `label` together after applying `decodeURIComponent`, making it easier for developers to verify whether tracking succeeded. How to use * Open `chrome://extensions/` in Chrome and drag the `.crx` extension file directly into it. * Open the page you want to check, click the extension icon, and browse and click through your page normally. Any tracking requests will appear in the extension's small window.
