Replace hard-to-read fonts such as the MS Gothic family and Arial Unicode MS with Meiryo.
Replace or remap Microsoft brain damaged^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hugly Japanese fonts (MS Gothic, MS Mincho and Arial Unicode MS) with Meiryo.
If reading text in MS Gothic and similar fonts hurts your eyes or gives you a headache, give this a try.
Compared with 強制メイリオちゃん (the original), this version should be somewhat less likely to disrupt page layouts.
If you find a page where the fonts cannot be replaced, please let me know the URL and other details.
★ If Japanese Wikipedia appears in MS Gothic fonts and causes trouble, try this setting too.

★ Windows XP does not include the Meiryo font. If you want to use it, download and install it from here.
