Google Tone

Broadcast any URL to computers within receiving range. Google Tone turns on your computer's microphone while the extension is enabled and uses your computer's speakers to exchange URLs with nearby computers connected to the Internet. You can use Google Tone to send the URL of any webpage, including news articles, images, documents, blog posts, products, YouTube videos, recipes and even search results. Any computer within receiving range, including those receiving audio by phone or Hangouts, can receive a Google Tone notification if the Google Tone extension is installed and enabled. You must sign in to a Google account to use Google Tone, and your Google profile name and photo will appear alongside the URL in Google Tone notifications. Chrome needs your microphone to be on to receive URLs through Google Tone. Google Tone may not work properly if the surroundings are noisy, the computers are far apart, the Internet connection is poor, a computer has no microphone, or its microphone cannot detect the Google Tone audio broadcast.
