Hong Kong Weather Extension （香港天氣）

Displays weather information and warning signals issued by the Hong Kong Observatory, with notifications when warnings take effect or are cancelled. 1. Provides most weather information needed for daily use. 2. Displays the latest weather information promptly and uses desktop notifications to alert you when warnings take effect. 3. Offers extensive customization, including hiding most information you do not need and setting the automatic information retrieval interval. ★ If you have any questions or comments, click “Feedback” on the right to submit a support request. ★ ★ When warning signals are in effect: - Displays active warning signals and their start times (thunderstorm warnings also show their validity periods). - The icon alternates between active warning signals and the weather icon. - Can promptly display desktop notifications when warnings take effect. ★ Displays a desktop notification when warning signals are cancelled, including the cancellation time (cancellation notifications only show information published by the Hong Kong Observatory in its detailed warning signal data). ★ When a tropical cyclone is within the Hong Kong Observatory's monitoring range: - Displays a tropical cyclone track map. - Provides up to three zoom levels according to the track maps published on the Hong Kong Observatory website. ★ Can continue running in the background when Google Chrome is closed to ensure warning notifications are not missed (to enable or disable this feature, go to Chrome settings > Advanced > Background apps - https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/3220216). ★ Available in Traditional Chinese and English (defaults to Traditional Chinese if neither language is used). ★ Current Hong Kong temperature, relative humidity, UV index and intensity. ★ Animated satellite, radar, lightning and rainfall images, plus enlarged MTSAT infrared and visible-light images; radar images; the number of lightning strikes in the past hour; and a line chart of total rainfall. ★ Nine-day weather forecast. ★ Regional weather. ★ Uses two weather icons to indicate weather changes. ★ Astronomy, tides and North Point sea temperature. ★ Extensive customization allows individual details to be shown or hidden. All information displayed is published periodically by the Hong Kong Observatory and is not real-time information.
