FlexTab: New Tab

FlexTab replaces the browser's new tab page with a dashboard you can arrange yourself. The sites and information you use most are there the moment you open a tab. Widgets 37 widgets cover everyday information: weather, calendar, to-do, anniversaries, trending topics, focus timer, world clock, currency conversion, fuel prices, sunrise and sunset, countdowns, retirement countdown, movie releases and reading. Each one can be moved and resized. Bookmarks and groups Keep frequently used sites in separate groups — daily, study, work — with folders and paged switching, so more shortcuts fit on one screen. Backgrounds Seven animated 3D scenes: aerial farmland, grassy hills, a bamboo stream, deep ocean, a koi pond, sound topography and a poetry scene. They change with the time of day and the weather. Solid colors, liquid gradients, soft vortex and your own wallpaper are also available. Local tools 20 tools are available as widgets: PDF, image editing, QR codes, JSON formatting, text diff, regex visualization, encryption, video to GIF, file renaming, SVG editing, audio tools, a calculator and a cron expression builder. File handling happens in the browser, with no upload. Appearance and sync Light, dark or follow the system. Sign in to sync your layout and settings across devices. FlexTab is free to use. The single purpose of this extension is to replace the browser's new tab page with a customizable dashboard for website shortcuts and informational widgets.
