Take control of your digital sovereignty by seeing tracking methods transparently. This extension provides practical information about browser fingerprints and shows whether the current website creates one. A popup shows whether a Canvas, WebGL, or audio fingerprint has been collected. It also shows the use of sensor, battery level, and location tracking. Canvas, WebGL, and audio fingerprinting can be tested at https://coveryourtracks.eff.org/. Sensor functionality can be tested at https://codepen.io/bantic/pen/qbxgBd or https://sensor-js.xyz/demo.html. A force refresh (STRG+F5) may be necessary. GPS can be tested at https://html5.komplett.cc/code/chap_geolocation/simple.html or https://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_geolocation.asp. Battery level can be tested at https://pazguille.github.io/demo-battery-api/ or https://googlechrome.github.io/samples/battery-status/. Warning: I do not recommend installing this add-on permanently. It has been shown that a website can theoretically fingerprint the add-ons a user has installed by checking scripts in the global JavaScript namespace (this add-on runs its own code in the namespace, as is common for add-ons). By keeping this add-on installed, an aggressive anti-privacy website could gain an additional identifier for your online identity. Use it only for informational and research purposes :)
