_bem_tv ext

An unofficial extension that makes abematv more convenient, with flexible settings for program notifications and autoplay, blocked comment words, scrolling comments over video, fixed video size, and more. About permissions “Read and change your data on abema.tv” (content_scripts, host permission): Used to perform the extension's main operations on AbemaTV pages. When automatic window opening for program notifications is enabled, it is also used to find tabs where AbemaTV is open. It does not access private data or data unrelated to AbemaTV. “Display notifications” (notifications): Displays notifications for the program start notification feature. “Communicate with cooperating websites” (externally_connectable): Enables communication between AbemaTV pages and the extension. Sites unrelated to this extension cannot communicate with it implicitly. This unofficial extension makes AbemaTV easier to watch. It may not work properly because of specification changes or differences in individual environments. If you encounter a problem, please report it using the button at the bottom of the options screen. Features include comment area improvements, comment blocking by word or user, scrolling comments, posting comments to Mastodon, video and control improvements, program notifications (advance alerts, automatic playback when configured, and notifications by email or LINE Notify), and improvements to channels in the program guide, such as choosing which to display. Check the options screen after installation for available features. Although many features relate to comments, various functions are useful even if you do not use the comment area. If you watch AbemaTV in Chrome, try the extension whether or not you read comments. Most features can be switched on or off, making it suitable for use alongside other AbemaTV viewing aids, such as user scripts. Some features may not work because they have not kept up with AbemaTV specification changes. - Make the upper and lower black-bar panels transparent - Make the comment area transparent and display comments on one line, with white text and black outlines for readability - Toggle the comment list by clicking the border of the comment input field - Add a temporary settings button beside the program navigation buttons on the right side of the screen - Set advance program notifications from a program's page in the guide, including how many minutes beforehand to notify you (one minute by default) - (Enable in settings) Resize the video to fit a wide Chrome window without cutting off the top and bottom. By default, video width matches the window width, so the top and bottom are hidden in a wide window. - (Enable in settings) Scroll comments horizontally - (Enable in settings) Hide the volume and full-screen buttons - (Enable in settings) Make the comment input field one line and hide the submit button and similar controls - (Enable in settings) Hide the comment area and move the input field down - (Enable in settings) Disable channel switching with the arrow keys and mouse wheel; the mouse wheel can instead be assigned to volume control in settings - (Enable in settings) Apply the predefined blocking rules to scrolling comments (see details below) - (Enable in settings) Do not display scrolling comments containing blocked words you specify (see format below) - (Enable in settings) Show the remaining program time and a gauge at the edge of the comment input field. The gauge also serves as a settings button, and its position can be changed. - (Enable in settings) Keep the comment area visible. While this is enabled, the button at the bottom right toggles the comment list. - (Enable in settings) Keep the upper and lower black-bar panels visible. - (Enable in settings) Scale the video down to fit its frame. - (Enable in settings) Display the program time and title. Due to AbemaTV's specifications, these are not retrieved until you open the program details panel once. - (Enable in settings) Highlight new comments - (Enable in settings) Improve the program guide by adjusting program title display, coloring weekends blue and red, and adding links to the viewing screen - Customize the comment area's appearance, including text color, background color, and transparency. Enable features marked “Enable in settings” from the options screen after installation. About horizontal scrolling comments: Comments are obtained from the comment area, so they can only scroll while that area is open. Enabling the option to keep the comment area visible should bring the behavior closer to what you want. In this state, clicking the comment count hides the comment area while leaving scrolling comments enabled.
