session manager
This extension saves all cookies for the current state of the current tab. You can save multiple states and restore a chosen state later.
Main use
Save multiple sessions for the same website, for example, to switch between roles in an administration panel.
How it works
0. Normally, browsers associate cookies with domains, so changes to cookies affect other tabs visiting the same domain.
1. Session IDs are generally stored in cookies.
2. You can use the extension to save the current cookies, manually clear them, log in again, and then save the new cookie state.
3. Clear the current cookies with the extension and use previously saved cookies to return to the earlier state.
Instructions
0. Click the extension icon, enter a name for the current session in the popup's input field, such as a role or username, and click save.
1. The previous step saves all current cookies, and the saved state name now appears in the list.
2. Click the "清除当前页面所有cookie" button in the upper right to clear the cookies. Note: do not log out, or the previously saved session, such as a PHP or Java session, will become invalid.
3. Refresh the page; you will be prompted to log in. Log in again with a different account, enter a new name, and save it.
4. The list now contains two saved states. Click use to activate either state.
Other notes
0. A green background indicates the state currently in use.
1. use: Activate a saved state.
2. update: Update the corresponding state with the current tab's cookies.
3. remove: Remove a saved state.
