Quickly download audio and video from Instagram as MP3, MP4, or WEBM. Download images from galleries. IG Downloader is a powerful Instagram downloader. In most cases, MP3 or MP4 files can be downloaded with one click; in other cases, you need to visit the Instaloader project website and use the IDL Client software. If you need to download Instagram music, you can extract MP3 audio from online videos in your browser. The extension adds a button for saving photos from Instagram galleries and can retrieve images in carousels. You can easily download videos from your feed. To do so, click “View all comments” below the post or click the three-dot button at the top of the post and select “Open post” from the drop-down menu. Then press the IDL Helper download button. The extension's capabilities are listed below; more details can be found on the IDL Helper page. Download video: — MP4 format with audio (*); — Up to 30 frames per second; — At the highest available resolution. Download audio: — In MP3 and MP4 formats (**); — At the highest possible bitrate. Note: Available download options depend on the characteristics of the original video file. For example, a silent video originally posted at 360p @24 fps cannot be downloaded as an HD @30 fps video with sound. Other extension features: — Files are saved with their original titles, just as on the service's website; — Choose the button appearance: modern (interface appears on hover) or classic (interface appears on click); — Support for downloading “embedded” videos, meaning Instagram videos hosted on third-party websites; — A button to download images at the highest quality, allowing photos to be saved from galleries; — Download Reels, IGTV videos, and regular videos; — A useful “Help” section answers frequently asked questions; — Some useful settings :) (*) In some cases, audio and video streams are stored separately on Instagram servers, so to download a video with sound, you need to “glue” (mux) the audio and video files: — For small streams (up to 2 Gb in total), the extension handles the merge itself, “on the fly” in the browser; — For large files, IDL Client is recommended to prevent the browser from freezing. (**) Instagram does not support MP3, so to download MP3 audio from a video, the extension uses its own converter for files up to 2 GB, or IDL Client for the remaining files.
