Rather, it is an additional resource for those seeking an API for studies, research, and the development of various applications that may require journal classifications. - This extension and its API were developed independently, without partnerships with CAPES or any other government agency. The official platform for checking Qualis Periódicos is the Qualis Periódicos system on the Sucupira platform. ##### DESCRIPTION: - With the Chrome Qualis extension, you can check journal classifications directly in Google Chrome. Lookups are available for journal classifications according to CAPES strata for the 2021-2024 and 2017-2020 assessment periods. ##### HOW TO USE: - There are two ways to use the extension: a) Select the ISSN number of the journal you want to look up and click the extension button; b) Click the extension button, enter the ISSN number in the search field, and click the magnifying glass. ##### WHAT'S NEW: - Version 3.4: a) Added Qualis lookup for the 2021-2024 assessment period based on data available on the official Sucupira platform website. b) Removed the 2013-2016 Qualis strata. - Version 3.0: a) Added Qualis lookup for the 2017-2020 assessment period based on data available on the official Sucupira platform website. b) Removed the initial notices. c) This extension no longer uses the QualisAPI API. - Version 2.5: a) Removed the 2019 Preliminary Qualis lookup. The 2019 Preliminary Qualis was not made official by CAPES and does not appear on CAPES's official communication channels or its platforms. - Version 2.4: a) Added the option to "Do not show this notice again". - Version 2.2: a) Qualis 2013-2016 is highlighted and displayed before the 2019 Preliminary Qualis; b) A notice is displayed with each lookup: "The official platform for checking Qualis Periódicos 2013-2016 is the Qualis Periódicos system on the Sucupira platform."; c) A notice is displayed with each lookup: "The 2019 Preliminary Qualis was not officially published by CAPES.". - Version 2.1: a) Fixed a bug that prevented journals from being found in the 2019 Preliminary Qualis when their ISSN number contained the letter 'x'. - Version 2.0: a) Added the 2019 Preliminary Qualis lookup; b) Fixed some bugs; c) Identifies an ISSN number within a selected sentence.
