Quick search on CNRTL (TLFi, synonyms, etymology...) via context menu, popup, and omnibox. I created this extension as a tribute to the work of CNRTL (Centre National de Ressources Textuelles et Lexicales). The lexical portal is a project led by the ATILF laboratory to bring together linguistic resources from various research projects in a single portal. The resources currently used by the lexical portal are: - Morphology: the Morphalou 2.0 lexicon - Phonetic transcription produced by the Parole team at LORIA - The speech synthesizer uses LIA_PHON and MBROLA - Lexicography: Le Trésor de la Langue Française informatisé (TLFi) - The dictionaries of the Académie Française (4th, 8th, and 9th editions) - The Base de données lexicographiques panfrancophone of Université Laval in Quebec - The Base Historique du Vocabulaire Français of the ATILF laboratory - The Dictionnaire du Moyen Français (1330 - 1500) of the ATILF laboratory - Etymology: Le Trésor de la Langue Française informatisé - The TLF-Étym research project (updates to TLF etymological entries) - Synonyms and antonyms: the synonym dictionary of the CRISCO laboratory - Proxemics: the Prox project of the ERSS laboratory - Concordance: the freely available Frantext corpus I opted for simplicity: a simple search field and confirmation with the Enter key. A selector lets you choose your resource (Morphology, Lexicography, Etymology, Synonyms, Antonyms, Proxemics, Concordance). New (March 2010): this option can now be configured through a preferences menu. Fixes (July 2010): focus on the search field, options screen charset Fixes (August 2010): preferences bug, new logo New (May 2011): by popular request, added a right-click context menu for a selected word. New (June 2013): complete rewrite to meet the new manifest version 2.
