Description

Change the font of all Chinese text on webpages to Microsoft YaHei. Remember to use YaHei in Chrome's font settings too, except for monospace fonts. Happy YaHei! The extension's features are summarized below: 1. Display Chinese, Japanese and Korean text on all webpages, except chrome-related pages, in Microsoft YaHei. The extension does not provide the font file. 2. Avoid changing English fonts as far as possible, unless the English text originally uses a Chinese, Japanese or Korean font, in which case YaHei is also used for consistency. 3. If the YaHei font is found, fall back in order to WenQuanYi Micro Hei and Droid Sans Fallback. v3.4.3 • No longer affects common monospace coding fonts. • Added compatibility with youziku.com and justfont.com. v3.4.2 • Added support for multiple font weights. v3.4.1 • Fixed blurry bold text. • Covered full-width punctuation. v3.4.0 • Further improvements. v3.3.0 • Added compatibility with Tmall's Alibaba icon font. • Removed the bundled Droid Sans Fallback font file. v3.2.1 • Fixed errors when replacing non-CJK fonts. v3.2.0 • Fixed fonts not being replaced in nested webpages. • Improved webpage font detection. v3.1.0 • Updated the Droid Sans Fallback font. • Added WenQuanYi Micro Hei as a fallback before Droid Sans Fallback; this extension does not include that font. v3.0.0 • Further improvements: added Microsoft YaHei font mappings for the CJK ranges of all system-provided non-CJK fonts. • Does not affect non-CJK characters. v2.0.1 • Corrected the Simplified Chinese description. v2.0.0 • Changed font replacement to replace only CJK fonts with Microsoft YaHei, and added Google's free Droid Sans Fallback font as a fallback. v1.x.x Old and unable to keep up with the times.
